Happy Easter

Four Easters ago

I saw a boy who looked lonely,

so I invited him to a big Easter Dinner.

He was the only boy who came

and was subsequently

subjected

to dating advice.

Girls in this ward

won't say

no

if you

ask them out.

Two weeks later

he asked me out.

I couln't say

no.

And I haven't been able to

say no to him since.

Happy Birthday James!

On Tuesday the 1st, James turned

the everlasting 29. . .

Since the weather was bad,

we kept things pretty low key.

We had Orsi's Pizza

and

Cake Gallery birthday cake. 

James got to blow out his candle

and eat his little

heart out.

All and all

he was a happy Birthday Boy.

(We'll see if the smile lasts until next year when he turns the ominous dun dun dun 30)

Summer Cardigan (finished in December). I used a Rowan Tweed and found the perfect daisy button. This piece was fairly easy to complete as the whole thing was done in stockinette, so I could take it anywhere and work on it. It was the piece that got put on the back burner A LOT, but I've finally finished it. Now, to find another take anywhere piece . . .

Aryn Gauntlets

This fingerless mittens only took me about a week to complete. I tried cables for the first time and this was a super easy project to learn on. Now, I'm excited to try my hand at more cables.
